Membership

Membership involves:

A high level of commitment and rehearsal attendance
Sufficient ‘homework' so that rehearsal time is spent on refining the music itself, rather than only learning notes
Payment of fees
Purchase of concert dress and music folder

Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held every Wednesday evening at the Griffith University Queensland Conservatorium of Music, South Bank, from 7.30pm to 10.00pm. Some weekend rehearsals may be scheduled and there will be extra rehearsals in the week prior to a performance. Notice of extra calls will be given well in advance.

Fees

The annual membership fee for 2011 is $195.

For pensioners and full-time students the fee is $135.

For members under 26 years the special concessional rate is $99.

Pro-rata fees are charged to members who join later in the year.

Fees are payable on the first rehearsal night of 2011, Wednesday February 9 (cash or cheque only).

You will not be able to receive your music until your subscriptions have been paid.

Social activities

From time to time social activities are arranged, e.g. musical costume parties, film nights.
