Support the Brisbane Chorale

Donations and Bequests

The Brisbane Chorale receives no funding from external sources. Its finances are derived from annual membership subscription fees and fees which may come from performance engagements.

If you appreciate the music we bring you and wish to see it grow and prosper, you might consider helping us financially. Brisbane Chorale Inc is listed on the Australian Register of Cultural Organisations, and is therefore eligible to receive public donations.

You can support the work of the Chorale by making a fully tax deductible* donation to the Brisbane Chorale Development Fund. Donations of $5 or more are tax-deductible and you will be issued with a receipt for tax purposes. (*Australian taxpayers only)

We are indebted to supporters who have made donations to the Chorale in the past. You can also make a bequest to the Chorale in your will. Your legacy will help ensure that our music-making continues for future generations.

The way forward

The Brisbane Chorale has just celebrated its 25th Anniversary. Our major aims are two-fold: we strive to perform as a symphonic choir at an international level of excellence; and we have a duty to promote the performance and appreciation of choral music. The next 25 years will present many challenges – certainly it will be a more expensive future – and we must ensure that our music-making remains financially viable.

Your donation to the Brisbane Chorale Development Fund will assist our plans for the next stage of our music-making, including: • new work commissions • recordings • tours • music acquisitions • performances • music appreciation and education.
