Support Brisbane Chorale

Building for the Future

For over 35 years the Brisbane Chorale has been an integral part of the cultural fabric of Queensland. Our major aims are two-fold:

  • to perform as a symphonic chorus to the highest standard; and
  • to foster and promote the performance and appreciation of choral music.

Your financial and in-kind support will assist us to continue our plans for music-making including • performances • recordings • music appreciation • education • music acquisitions • new work commissions • tours.

Your support also assists the Brisbane Chorale in its many activities supporting our home communities of Brisbane and Queensland.

How you can support us financially

You can help us financially with a tax deductible donation.

Business Partnership

Become our Business Partner. We will promote your business within the choir and externally, in exchange for benefits to the Brisbane Chorale to be negotiated.

Donations

The Brisbane Chorale does not receive any operational funding from government sources. Its finances are derived from membership subscription fees and fees that may come from performance engagements. As the Brisbane Chorale is listed on the Australian Register of Cultural Organisations it is also eligible to receive tax deductible public donations.

If you appreciate the music we bring you, you might consider helping us financially with a tax deductible donation to the Brisbane Chorale Development Fund. You will be issued with a receipt for tax purposes. Donations of $5 or more are tax-deductible but no amount is too small to help carry on the work of the Brisbane Chorale.

If you wish to donate, please get in touch with us via email to contact@brisbanechorale.org.au

Bequests

Music enriches, inspires, challenges. We seek to do that through our singing.

Choral music is a powerful medium that has inspired composers to write some of their greatest music. The Brisbane Chorale is dedicated to promoting the performance of choral music, and sharing with audiences the power and beauty of great choral works, past and present.

You can help our work to grow and prosper by making a bequest to the Brisbane Chorale in your will.

Business Partnership

In the spirit of partnership with the business community the Brisbane Chorale launched its Business Partner Program in 2009.

The philosophy is simple – we seek businesses to support the Brisbane Chorale by offering discounts to members and/or by donating a percentage of the fee/profit to the Brisbane Chorale Development Fund for sales made to Brisbane Chorale members and their associates/supporters. In other words, we support the business partner and there is a reciprocal benefit to the Brisbane Chorale.

The Business Partner Program is seen as a win-win situation for everyone involved.

Brisbane Chorale members, friends and supporters are eligible for discounts on products or services.
Business Partners benefit from Brisbane Chorale members’ purchases and business. The donation is tax-deductible and this cost to business partners is in direct relationship to the extra business provided.
The Brisbane Chorale promotes its business partners free of charge in Brisbane Chorale newsletters, concert programs and website.
There is no specified donation or entry fee and no annual fees.

The Chorale is a community organisation of some 130 members, each of whom has a circle of family, friends and work colleagues. It has the ability to advertise and promote business to that circle and bring new customers and additional sales revenue to Chorale supporters.

Become a Business Partner of the Brisbane Chorale. It costs nothing to join.

We thank you for your support.
