Do you love choral music? Love singing? If you have a passion for the great works of the choral repertoire and a commitment to good musicianship we’d be thrilled to have you join us as we explore and perform these magnificent works together!

Applying for an audition is simple – fill in this form and we’ll get in touch to make the arrangements. The audition itself is informal, friendly and private. You won’t need to bring a prepared piece. You’ll find further details about joining and the audition here.

Choruses usually stand stock still, scores in hand. Here the Brisbane Chorale and Brisbane’s Canticum Chamber Choir (brava chorus director Emily Cox) are a restless, mobile body of 110 souls. This mighty press of humanity is the Requiem’s backbone.

It was exceptional. The collaboration with Brisbane Chorale and Canticum Chamber Choir, was fantastic. What made it even more terrific was the added choreography to their singing. Perfect blend with the ballet dancers.

...the most stunning thing about this performance was the chorus. Trained by Emily Cox, it was a combination of her Canticum Singers and [...] Brisbane Chorale. Quite apart from memorizing this huge score, they responded to the elaborate choreography demanded by Spuck with a verve and enthusiasm which infected their actual singing. They sounded so much more alive when they were theatrically involved with depicting the dead.
